They say they have eclectic American cuisine and casual elegance, and they DO. The setting off of A1A along the Florida east coast is alongside a pond and the interior lives up to its claim.
But on to the food, which unfortunately was only lunch this time. As entrees passed our table on the way to other diners, I noticed that they all looked interesting. My choice was a Cobb style salad with blackened chicken breast; in included very fresh ingredients and was one of the best salads I’ve ever had. Wine choices by the glass were few but reflected attention to providing quality wines to go along with the quality food.
Though I don’t frequently find myself on the stretch of road south of Jacksonville towards St. Augustine, I will return here when the opportunity arises.
It is independently owned so support it (Cary Hart – Owner/Operator).
